A place to seat a crowd and have a worship service, I found it a quiet, lovely place to meditate in the mornings. In the distance you could hear the sounds of the kitchen and breakfast being made. Plans for the days work were in progress. The silent presence of the cross always made me feel so close to those voices in the kitchen.
